I am a wife and stay-at-home mother of 2. My husband, Steve, and I have been married for 12 years. I graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word where I was also a cheerleader. I am a former Autism therapist and have worked in the special needs community for many years. I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, painting, exercising, and reading.

The Austyntatious Story

Anyone who knows me personally will tell you I’m far from shy. When I was a little girl, my great grandfather would always call me “Austyntatious” while I performed my elaborate fashion shows for the entire family. Ever since then, the name just stuck.

Little did I know that nickname would perfectly describe my culinary style. Hosting extravagant, over-the-top events are so much fun but, my true passion comes from smaller scale entertaining and sharing my love for the culinary arts with my friends and family. I truly believe life is too short to limit fun gatherings to just weddings or major life events and that every day is an opportunity to be celebrated. Like I’ve said many times before, I love any excuse to throw a party. If it involves food & laughter, invite me and I will be there.

Food is my love language. There is something so personal about making someone something to eat. It might sound silly but knowing someone will be sharing one of my Charcuterie boards or grazing tables with their close friends or family while creating memories eating something I’ve prepared for them is so special to me.
